Misty shore. Early February mornings on the Dingle Peninsula offers a magical, moody atmosphere, featuring soft light breaking over the Atlantic, dramatic clouds, and misty coast line. A dreamy location for any photographer.
Photographs from Kerry. A region shaped by the Atlantic wind. A summer day in Kerry, Ireland, offers breath taking coastal beauty, featuring stunning clean beaches. The Wild Atlantic Way provides dramatic scenery with deep blue waters, rugged cliffs and gentle, shifting, soft clouds over the Dingle Peninsula.
Dog's Bay. Located in Connemara, County Galway, this is a stunning, must-see horseshoe-shaped beach with pure white sand. Famed for its turquoise, crystal-clear water, it is protected by a headland, making it perfect for swimming, strolling, and visiting
A Rivers flows. We are still on the Wild Atlantic Way between Galway and Sligo. The River Moy runs through this scenic region offering beautiful, sun drenched landscapes and picturesque views. The little fishing hut the only hint at civilization.
Skellig view. A narrow road leads toward another Kerry peninsula. The shimmering blue ocean flanked by green grassy hills and cliffs that lead the eye to the distant Skellig Islands.
All the colours of the sea. On the Clare coast near Gortacarnaun I found this spot where the ocean breaks against the rocks and you get to view the colours of the sea. This rugged coastline on The Wild Atlantic Way continues to supply inspiration to photographers.
Landscape Illusions. A church tower emerges above the tree line. This church tower appears so out of place in the landscape except, it‘s in the town of Killaloe surrounded by shops, houses and narrow streets. Photographs like this show us why we need to slow down and really look at our surroundings.
Abandoned to time. This abandoned old house near the railway station in Maams Cross County Galway. We stopped at the horse fair taking place nearby and found this old house about ready to fall down surrounded by flowers just off to the side of the road.
Maam's Cross. Maam Cross railway station on the Galway to Clifden branch of the former Midland Great Western Railway of Ireland. Closed for over 80 years it's now a working railway experience.
Curragh Chase Forest Park. There are over 300 hectares of rolling parkland, trails, mixed woodland, lakes and an arboretum at Curragh Chase for anyone with an interest in photography or nature. This planned landscape was the former home of the de Vere family, and only 22Km from Limerick city.
Coastal views. Another Wild Atlantic Way coastline, with green hills, rocky cliffs, and a calm sea.
The stream. A mountain stream flowing over rocks, it was a beautiful summer day and the water was still freezing.
Hidden surprise. A tranquil view of the river Shannon near Lough Derg with tall grasses and leafless trees on either side, reflecting the cloudy sky above in the water. A sheltered harbour for a local fishing boat hides a stunning reflection.
The Bath House. The Old Cliff Baths built in 1850 and located to the northern end of the promenade on Enniscrone beach.
A fishing place. We are still on the route between Galway and Sligo. The River Moy, renowned for it's salmon fishing, runs through the area. This scenic region, frequently highlighted as part of the Wild Atlantic Way, offers beautiful, sun-drenched landscapes and picturesque views.

Out of place. A large cruise ship sailing near Foynes in the Shannon Estuary, green hills in the background mud flats in the foreground.
Overlooking the Sea. A narrow road on the Clare coast near Doolin leading down to a stormy sea with Doonagore tower house keeping a watch full eye on the coast as it has done since the 16th century. The photograph captures the wild Atlantic Ocean as it breaks on the Irish shore.
Reflections. You wait for weeks watching the weather and then one day everything just aligns. There are clouds sunshine and reflections. The perfect setting for a photograph, just mind the brambles, the floods, the boggy ground, landscape photography is so easy.
Autumnal colour. When I first started taking photographs with the idea of selling them, I visited scenic locations in my area, where better to start a journey but from a place you know. This is on the Clare side of the footbridge in Castleconnell county Limerick. A beautiful spot at any time of year,
Forest walk. The Clare Glens is situated roughly 4 kilometres from the village of Newport, The area is renowned for its lush forests, dramatic river gorges, and rocky landscapes, making it a popular spot for nature walks and outdoor recreation.
